ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized as the leader in pediatric cancer research. The hospital, which was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962, has treated more than 20,000 children from across Texas, the United States and over 70 foreign countries. Located in Memphis, St. Jude is the first institution established for the sole purpose of conducting basic and clinical research into catastrophic childhood diseases, mainly cancer. It treats children without regard to race, religion, creed and ability to pay at no cost to the family. St. Jude provides cutting edge research and this is freely shared with the local community so that together, we can find cures and save children.
